My life, chaos and all...

Wedding Ring of Death...not for the faint of heart...or stomach...(really its not that bad)

So, I have a VERY nice hubby who has VERY good taste in jewelry. Well 14 hours before I had Mikayla I started swelling EVERYWHERE I was getting huge...well we didnt get my rings off fast enough and my wedding ring had to be cut off. We are talking into 6 pieces, however the diamonds were left alone. So we get home and decide to have it saudered together while its already being repaired.
Well that is all great, however the jeweler must have used nickle to sauder it so now when I wear it, this happens...

And we aren't talking about wearing it for hours and this happening, we are talking like 5 minutes. This is left over from wearing it for an hour on Easter. It sucks, so I need to go back to the jewelers show them my finger and ask them to fix it using gold..like the rest of the ring.

I dont think so....

So it has been quite rainy in Oklahoma lately, Im not complaining however my dogs might be. The dogs have the good life again, laying around being lazy inhouse dogs again. Well that means they must go out regularley to do their, well business. So I made sure Kaykay was comfy and proceeded to take the girls outside. Yes it was raining, however if they want the good life they need to suck it up and be tough. Aggie realized this...Lillie however didnt want to get wet...

Aggie...

Lillie...

Well eventually Lillie was brave and found out she wouldnt melt after all, however she still wouldnt play in the rain with Aggie. So Aggie proceeded to play by herself and run laps and bite at the rain...

I love my dogs, however someone needs to tell them they aren't poodles so drop the drama LOL!

First real booboo...

Okay so even though Kaykay was born so early and had tons of poking and prodding done to her I have never considered any of those actuall booboos. Well the other day when Eric was playing with the little Roley Poley, that is my daughter she rolled into the entertainment center and got her first bruise. It was never very dark and has lightened up now that it is on day 3 of having it I decided I should blog it. I am so thankful it was nothing worse, however I know those days are fast aproaching...I wonder if you can buy bubble wrap in bulk?...

See the ever faint mark on her left cheek about an inche below her eye? Its hardly noticeable now but it is her first booboo and I felt it needed documenting.
Take care all and watch out for entertainment centers, they bite...

Wheres my dishsoap?...

Okay not to start this off let me just say that I love my husband. He is a goob and a complete dork but I love him. However sometimes I am not quite sure how is brain works or if it does...
I am picking up the house something I had been putting off because of what started out as allergies but has so wonderfully made its self at home in my lungs, we will call him Albert. Not sure what but Albert. I'll get back to that some other time...until then back to my dishsoap.
So I told Eric he had to bathe the dogs and clean out there dog run. A job too messy for a girl to even think about doing...its why God made us Mommies (we will handle the diapers that explode and kill the outfit..you handle the truly icky stuff in the world, dont like it? Tough, learn how to shoot a watermelon out of a lemon and so forth...LOL!) So he lets Aggie in who was still a little damp but clean and kinda fruity smelling ( I didnt think much about it at the time I was busy keeping Mikayla from the wet dog who really wanted to kiss her). Well shortly after Lillie was let in, again still damp and kinda fruity. Huby went back out and returned to all of the "Man" stuff he had to do. He came back in and said it was really starting to rain so he is glad he got all of that done before it hit. So its the next day the dogs are dry, the babies asleep, its time to tackle the kitchen...but where is my dishsoap? Then I remebered I had "kinda fruity" orange dishsoap....So after searching in the kitchen and coming to this light bulb moment I go to the window... and see this:

No, surely he didnt use my good dishsoap to bathe the dogs and clean the doghouse (that igloo on its side), right?

No, its probably one he had out side in his "man-house, aka the garage", I mean he wouldnt get what I clean the dishes, something that is in constant contact with our very insides, what I wash my daughters bottles with on the dogs, right?...

YES! That is it! OMGoodness he did use it! So luckily I always have a second bottle of most cleaning stuff in the pantry. So I grab it and go back to the kitchen thinking the whole time boys are dumb I mean really, there was even a bottle with less in it--a kind I really dont like under the sink but nope he used the one I use several times a day to clean: the dogs, the dog run, the dog house, and all of the things that dogs...well lets just say YUCK!
On the upside though and the reason he has no idea of the "Great Dishsoap Search", he did what I asked and bathed the dogs and cleaned there dog run. So next time it just goes to show I need to deligate what soap and TOWELS!! get used when the puppies get a bath lol!
Well enough on this,
<3>

Wii is the best! Especially when you get everyone together... (pictures)

My best friend got a Wii and they are the most fun I have ever had with a video game. You get to actually play the game. We are talking swing a bat, pitch a ball, throw a bowling ball, do surgeries, cook, play ping pong, fish, and the list goes on! We had soo much fun last night. That and we finished the night with Scattegories another fun game for any ages.
Did yall know they are even putting Wiis into nursing homes for elderly to get to play and have some physical activity, and who knows bowl just one more game or catch one last fish, I think tha tis the greatest idea of any!!!
Well I will quit jabbering away and show yall the action shots from last night...we were bowling.
(I was behind the scenes with the camera this time but I will get yall an action shot of me next time lol)

Eric was up first...
Then Steve-O Supreme-O

And then lil miss Erica!!

I would also like to add that Erica kicked our butts at boxing...she is fiesty!!
Well thats all till next time, in the mean time...GET OUT AND PLAY!!!

Lazy days...

I love this weather...I love rain, everything about it I love. Well except the floods but that is pretty rare here in Oklahoma. However I hope it clears up tomorrow so the kids can hunt eggs. We had to switch it to this weekend because it was way to cold last weekend for them to do it.
I am sitting here thinking of all the things I need to be doing: laundry, picking up the house, I need to go buy formula, shower lol, pay some bills, I could work on Kayakay's bathroom or the dining room, figure out what I am making for supper...cheeseburger pie maybe?, I need to shampoo my carpets.... And the list goes on. But what am I doing? I am setting in my computer chair holding my sleeping baby, listening to the rain on my windows, watching the cooking channel (muted), and typing this one handed. We are even still in our pajamas!!!
Only thing about days like today is I miss my family. If we all werent so busy or lived so far apart I would make a huge pot of Chicken and homemade Noodles with smashed potatoes and a Wacky Cake (super easy from scratch chocolate cake). I would bring out Cranium or Catch Phrase and we could all eat and goof around till the kids were ready for bed. That would be a great day.
Kaykay had a "well baby" exam on Wednesday. They are very happy with her. They want to see her: gain some more weight (which is always are goal so far), wave byebye, point, clap, crawl, and pull up to a standing position. This all stuff a 9-10 month old should be doing. However she is doing great and has even started to army/belly crawl yesterday, so we are getting closer and closer to being caught up to her actual age. I try to only use her adjusted age when I am getting discouraged at everything they want her doing, it helps me to rember she is perfectly normal and doing great. They think she will be walkin by her first birthday. I dont know, If she starts crawling this month I can see it happening.
I guess I better go lay this sweet baby down and start my day. Take care all!

This week we are playing with TEXTURES!!!

We are learning about new and diffrent textures this week, and man are we having some fun!!!
We started with "sticky". I used melted chocolate since babies cant have honey and wow....

I was also giving her strawberries and peaches to munch on...lol but she loved chocolate, she is her mommies baby lol.

And a cookie too...

And the sugar rush after... lol

Luckily it didnt last long, it was definately worth it.

Today was 'soft, loose" I was supposed to use flour but I used powdered sugar..I didnt want her eating flour lol. Again it was a succes, she had a blast. I gave her a measuring cup and pastry brush to play in it...and the guys gave her a cookie to dip... lol

The after math of this one wasnt near as messy as the chocolate but I am glad we are doing this with her, babies learn from the simplist things.

Next we are going to play with "rough" and I think I am going to either use farina or brown sugar. Then fluffy, smooth, squishy, and finally wet, and dry. I love getting to have the time to do these lil things with her.
