A girl and her puppy...
So we had decided to get rid of one of our boxers because 2 big dogs was too much with a toddler in the house, so I had a friend with a big family that would be perfect for the youngest boxer Lillie. We take them the dog and they love her right away ans we go home. I am feeling bad for having to give away one of my dogs but relieved at the same time, 2 inside is too many...right?
Well, apparently my husband didnt think so...
So what does he do? He brings home a flippen puppy! Yes a puppy! I could have pulled off his toenails for doing this. However he said he would take full responibility for the new puppy, who mind you is a mut (my boxer was a full blood). She is supposed to be a Pointer Lab mix. She is cute to boot I will give him that. She is having a little trouble on the potty training thing which means Eric is shampooing the carpets a lot now, and pulling his hair out.... serves him right if you ask me lol. His reasoning is "Mikayla needed a puppy" so this puppy who I have named Mollie is now best buds with Mikayla so I am outvoted here, she has even won over my best friend, not an easy task.
Before I show you pictures please keep in mind what I am thinking...
We got rid of a 60 lb boxer because 2 big dogs was too much with a toddler, however Miss Mollie is suppossed to get up to 80-125 lbs!!! This makes no sense to me lol!!!
But she is here and Aggie, my other boxer--who has only 3 legs, is now living it up with the whole backyard to her self. (I cant bring her in until the other is potty trained) And Mollie is living it up with Kaykay. I am still holding strong though, this pup is going to have to save superman before I claim her.
But enough of that, here are some pictures of when Mikayla and Mollie met for the first time. Mikayla was taking a nap and we woke her up with the puppy.
"Ecuse me, I am sleeping here"
Tail wag to the face...
"Hmmm... what is that thing? And why did it think it could wake me up?"
"Well, she is pretty soft. And she seems like she is my size."
"Okay, I LOVE HER!!!"
And thats that, I lost the war before I even knew there was a battle. I am sure I will blog very soon about these too again.
Till next time, go out and play!
